Many Leeds United supporters have been responding to a Twitter post from The Athletic’s Phil Hay in which he discusses the club’s reported interest in the Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance.
According to the journalist, despite the links with a move for the midfielder, there has been no comment from the club. He also said that the ‘reports of serious interest’ in the 21-year-old are ‘accurate’. Hay also goes on to add that ‘all sides are open to the possibility of a deal’ and that this is ‘one to watch closely this week’.
Here is how a sample of the Elland Road faithful have responded to this update.
Be an interesting one. High quality but not played a lot so might take a few weeks to get up to Bielsa fitness levels. Left footed but plays mainly on the right of central midfield – attacking midfielder.

Bayern bought Cuisance for €10m a year ago. Not sure what he’s done in that year to justify doubling his value. He’s barely played for Bayern. Undoubtedly a talented prospect, but it feels like we’ll be overpaying.

This would be perfect cover for Philips, its obvious that Forshaw is too far away in terms of injury

Would you like to see Leeds sign Daniel Cuisance?
Yes
No
Cuisance made nine Bundesliga appearances last season with the majority of those coming as a substitute and according to WhoScored, his average performance rating was a solid 6.7/10. Fans continued to make their feelings known in the replies.
The Bayern fans and local press appear confused and surprised that that youngster may be let go – I think that is a good sign.

He’s a good quality player but Bayern believe he has an attitude problem but is a top quality attacking midfielder

Kid is clearly a massive talent

It’s clear from the above responses that some supporters have concerns with regards to the reported asking price, others with the player’s attitude but the overall opinion on whether he would be worth going after or not appears to be mixed.
