A lot of Leeds United fans have replied to a post from Adam Pope that contains an injury update on Adam Forshaw from Marcelo Bielsa.
The Leeds midfielder has suffered a setback in his return from injury, and Bielsa does not want to put a timescale on his return.
Pope’s tweet also claims that the former Middlesbrough player will need up to five games with the Under-23s to get back up to speed because he has been out for so long.
This post drew the attention of these Leeds fans, who feel bad for Forshaw.
Do you think Forshaw will ever play for Leeds again?
No, he is finished
Yes, he could play again
Oh man that’s so sad. Feel so bad for Adam. Fingers crossed it’s all smooth from here. ??

Gotta feel for him. He was quality in the handful of games he played at the start of last season. Maybe won’t play this season?

Unfortunately could be the last time we see him imo

I think the club does that’s why they kept his injury a mystery for so long. It’s gutting, hope he comes back stronger but we can’t carry too many players with a small squad.

Forshaw has not been seen in a Leeds shirt since the end of September last year, as a hip injury has plagued him.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that he would go to the United States and have surgery with the aim to be ready for the 2020/21 season, but it seems he has suffered a setback and is now out indefinitely.
This post continued to draw the attention of many Leeds fans.
He is actually a broken man ?

I don’t think we’ll see him any time soon. Feels like another Izzy Brown situation

Please pay him off. Clearly not coming back.

He’s never going to play for us again is he? I don’t see how anyone injured for this long can ever get Bielsa fit.

The 28-year-old featured in seven of the Whites’ first nine league games last season, but after a 45-minute appearance against Charlton Athletic almost a year ago, he has not played.
The fact that Bielsa refused to put a timescale on the issue could also be considered bad news, and some Whites fans think they will never see Forshaw in a Leeds shirt again.
He has under two years of his contract left and is one of a number of natural central midfielders in the squad, so even if he does recover, he will likely have to fight for his place in the team.
However, as things stand, no one knows how much longer he will be out for, but hopefully, for his sake, this setback isn’t too bad.
