Supporters of Leeds United have recently flocked to a club announcement regarding their Premier League fixture with Manchester City.
On Wednesday afternoon, the club relayed an announcement to Twitter which revealed that the fixture with City has been selected for coverage by Sky Sports (per Leeds United).
The match at Elland Road against Pep Guardiola’s outfit will now kick-off at 5:30pm on Saturday 3rd October (per Leeds United).
This is the original date for the clash, however, the kick-off time has been moved to the evening.
After this announcement was shared on social media, it had lots of Leeds fans talking.

During the weekend of 3rd and 4th October, five other top-flight matches have been selected for coverage on Sky Sports and four will be broadcast by BT Sport (per Premier League).

So far this season, Manchester City have featured in only one Premier League clash. In it, they defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-1 at Molineux (per BBC).

Meanwhile, Leeds have played two league matches and have won one and lost one, so, the two sides are currently level on points with City ahead on goal difference.
Their inclusion on Sky Sports is not a surprise to some fans, however, with Leeds among Sky’s most popular picks when it comes to broadcast selections over the years, even when playing in the second tier.
