Many Celtic fans have been talking about the latest tweet that their former player Marc Crosas recently posted on social media.
Crosas posted an image of himself playing for the Hoops during his time at Parkhead. The image had the caption: ’12 years ago today, my life changed forever.’ The caption carried the green heart emoji and the four-leaf clover emoji.
The tweet caught the attention of many Celtic fans, who made their admiration for Crosas very clear indeed.

Do Celtic need a player like Crosas today?
Absolutely!

Crosas joined Celtic in August 2008 for a fee of £486k. The Spaniard arrived at Parkhead from Catalan giants Barcelona. He stayed at Celtic until 2011 and left the Glasgow club for Volga in February of that year (as per Transfermarkt).
Some other Celtic fans also had positive words to say for Crosas in response to the Spaniard’s tweet.

During his time at Parkhead, Crosas made 48 appearances in all competitions for the Bhoys. He scored one goal and picked up seven assists. He was a defensive midfielder by trade and also played as a central midfielder multiple times (as per Transfermarkt).
The fact that Celtic fans appear to have a liking for Crosas, even though he was at the club for just some months more than two years, says a lot about the impact that he made during his time at Parkhead.
