Many Celtic fans have been fuming at the latest tweet that Superscoreboard recently relayed on social media.
Superscoreboard’s tweet carried predictions for the 2020/21 season from pundits Mark Wilson and Alex Rae. Wilson predicted Celtic to finish at the top of the table, while Rae predicted the Bhoys to finish in second behind their Glasgow rivals.
Rae’s predictions for the campaign caught the attention of many Celtic fans and as a result, they flocked to this tweet. They directed their anger at Rae and they made their displeasure very clear.
Alex, I am interested to hear your logic to justify that prediction. Recent vase won in France, finger in the air, ex-player syndrome or fan perhaps? Bearing in mind Celtic have won 11 consecutive trophies, a possible quadruple treble still to secure & a team full of winners!

Is Alex Rae biased against Celtic?
Yes, he hates us
No, he's just giving his opinion
Has Rae ever tipped Celtic in all the years he’s been making predictions? If not, he’s a terrible pundit.

Alex Rae is a worse pundit than DJ……and that’s saying something ?
— Jimmy Rooney (@jimmyro58) August 3, 2020
He can just never ever bring himself to say Celtic.

These Celtic fans believe that Rae is biased against the Hoops. Celtic recently won their first Premiership game of the season, beating Hamilton 5-1 on Sunday. Rangers, on the other hand, beat Aberdeen 1-0 at Pittodrie.
Some more Celtic fans expressed their anger for Rae.
@alexrae1969 you’re an embarrassment ? https://t.co/Rhpvf3BjkG

Not Surprised By Mr Rae’s Choice…. Just Means He’s Gonna Look Like An Idiot At The End Of The Season…. AGAIN!! ???? https://t.co/0D9gWhTfDO

Alex Rae hows he got a platform clown

Is Alex Rae paid to give a balanced educated opinion or just put who he supports? https://t.co/KykbIV8ZN5

Some more of these fans feel that Rae is biased against Celtic. Rae has previous links with Rangers, having plied his trade with them during his playing days. He had joined the club from Wolves and after two seasons there, he left for Dundee FC in 2006 (as per Transfermarkt).
Celtic are on the hunt to win their 10th Premiership title in a row, and a big win against Hamilton will surely do no harm to their confidence in their search of the title once again. Hoops fans would be desperate to win it, considering the club hasn’t had this chance since the 1970s. They can only hope that the Bhoys kick on from here and prove Rae wrong at the end of the campaign.
