To kick-off this quiz on Nuno Espirito Santo on the hard side, which club was his first game on the touchline at Molineux against?

Over these fixtures, he has guided Wolves back to the Premier League, by winning the Championship in his first season in charge of the club, and then to two consecutive seventh-place finishes in the top-flight.

As a result of his impressive performances with Wolves, the club are said to be keen to tie the Portuguese manager down to a new deal, with 90min reporting that they are confident of doing so.

On the subject of the Wolves boss, Adrian Clarke recently stated on the Football Writers Podcast that he can’t see the 46-year-old going anywhere soon.

He said: “He’s a scary character, isn’t he? I’d listen to Nuno. If he was talking to me, there’s no way I’d look elsewhere and start to daydream. I don’t think he’d tolerate it. He’s a big guy.

“I rate him. I think he’s excellent. He’s in an environment that works really well for him. All I think he can ask of the board is that they continue to show greater ambition, year on year. Obviously the likelihood now is that they’ll be out of Europe, so they can probably have a real run at [the] top four next season, and providing he can keep [Adama] Traore and [Raul] Jimenez. But I don’t see Nuno leaving. No chance, not at the moment.”

TIF Thoughts…

As such, it would certainly appear that Clarke is of the belief that Nuno Espirito Santo will indeed be sticking around at Wolves for a little while longer yet, which, considering all that he has achieved in his relatively short time at the club so far, must be music to the ears of Wolves fans.
