Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a transfer report regarding supposed Spurs transfer target Arkadiusz Milik.

Claims that have appeared in The Times have suggested that AS Roma are rivalling the north London outfit for the signing of the Napoli striker.

Supposedly, Jose Mourinho’s side’s hopes of signing the Polish frontman have been ‘complicated’ by interest from the Serie A club.

The transfer link between Roma and Milik was initially reported by Corriere dello Sport and they claim the Rome club ‘likes’ Milik ‘a lot’.

This report was relayed to supporters on social media by Daily Hotspur and it had lots of them talking.

During the 2019/20 season, the Polish forward bagged an impressive total of 11 goals in 26 Serie A appearances (per WhoScored).

The 26-year-old attacker also earned a 6.88/10 average rating which made him the fourth-best performer to play for Napoli in the league.

Had Milik earned the same average rating for Spurs in the Premier League then he would have been their seventh-best performer (per WhoScored).

As can be seen in what these Spurs fans had to say, they are clearly keen for Tottenham to ensure that they sign Milik from Napoli.
