Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a transfer link which has emerged between the club and Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez.
According to a recent report by the Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho’s outfit is one of a number of sides that are ‘tracking his on-going situation’.
Alongside Spurs, seven other top-flight clubs are touted to have an interest in the Colombian in the report.
Supposedly, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are also ‘tracking’ him.
This report was then shared to social media by Hotspur Related and it had lots of fans talking.

During the 2019/20 La Liga season, the Colombian midfielder made eight appearances for Los Blancos in which he scored once and assisted once (per WhoScored).
Would you be happy if Spurs signed James Rodriguez?
No, he's not good enough
Yes, he's a good player
Based on the amount of midfielders we have and are “potentially “ signing our new formation will be 0-9-1 !

Over his eight appearances, Rodriguez earned a 6.91/10 average rating which made him Real Madrid’s 12th-best performer in the league (per WhoScored).
Had the 29-year-old midfielder earned the same average rating for Spurs in the Premier League in the most recent season, then he would have been their seventh-best player (per WhoScored).
No thanks
