Fans of Leeds United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which James Marshment relayed claims that the club are working on a deal to bring Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno to the club this summer.
According to Sky Sports Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio, Leeds ‘have a clear target’ in Rodrigo, with the reporter suggesting that Marcelo Bielsa hopes to have the forward available for the club’s first fixture of the Premier League season.
James Marshment then relayed this news in a tweet of his own, and, in reaction, fans of Leeds flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that the 29-year-old Spanish international looks an exciting prospect.
Nah this would an actual madness, my god ? https://t.co/rgYLWmtlg2

Since joining Valencia from Benfica in what was a £27 million deal back in 2015, Rodrigo has gone on to feature 220 times for Los Che, scoring 59 times and providing 41 assists.
Last season, the forward featured 27 times in La Liga – a figure which was hampered by a recurring knee injury – scoring four goals and providing seven assists, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.76/10.
The 29-year-old also found the back of the net twice, as well as providing a further two assists, during Valencia’s Champions League campaign, averaging a highly impressive 7.41 WhoScored match rating.
In addition to this experience at the highest level of European club football, Rodrigo also has 22 senior caps for Spain, over which he has scored eight goals.
Do you think that Rodrigo Moreno would be a good signing for Leeds?
Yes
No
As such, it is not surprising to see many more Leeds fans gushing about the links between their club and the striker.

We have to admit, being linked with an established top-flight player like Rodrigo certainly seems an impressive feat having only just secured promotion back to the Premier League.
Whether or not Leeds actually make a more concrete move for the £36 million-rated man remains to be seen, however, if they can get this deal done, it is our belief that Rodrigo would not only be a great addition to Marcelo Bielsa’s squad, but also to the Premier League as a whole.
