Which player scored Spurs' first goal of the Premier League campaign?

The report claims that Spurs are one of the Premier League clubs interested in signing Sampdoria central-midfielder Ronaldo Vieira.

In the caption of his post, Sacks claimed that Vieira “brings quality to the table, his ball-winning abilities, as well as his effective ball distribution, has caught Jose Mourinho’s eye.”

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest transfer link.

Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:

The former Leeds United man joined the Italian side back in the 2018 summer transfer window in a deal worth £6.39 million.

Since then, the 22-year-old, who is currently valued at £5.67 million, has made a total of 44 appearances for Sampdoria in which he has managed to provide three assists but has yet to score a goal for himself at the club.

Before he moved to Italy, Vieira made 71 appearances for Leeds where he scored two goals and provided four assists along the way.

Now that Sacks has relayed this news onto his official Twitter account, this paved the way for lots of Spurs fans to share their thoughts on this potential move from the club.

Do Spurs need to sign another central-midfielder this summer?

It appears that these Spurs fans are quite pleased at seeing their club linked with Vieira. It will be interesting to see if Spurs decide to make a move for him this summer and if he would be able to have another crack at playing in England once again.

However, with Spurs having already signed a central-midfielder in the shape of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this summer, this begs the question whether or not Spurs need to sign someone like Vieira who can also play in that position.
