Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have flocked to a tweet that was recently posted by Spurs news Twitter account @HotspurRelated which has relayed some news regarding the Lilywhites’ pursuit of Beijing Sinobo Guoan defender Kim Min-jae.

Tottenham have been linked with a move for the 23-year-old South Korean defender, who is said to be ‘extremely highly-rated,’ throughout the current transfer window.

Back in July, Sky Sports reported that ‘it will take a big offer’ for his current club to consider selling him.

However, more recently, @HotspurRelated have posted a tweet sharing that the Lilywhites are reportedly ‘in talks’ with the defender’s club Beijing Sinobo Guoan, who are said to be looking for €15m (£13.43m) for the player’s sale. This tweet cites Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport as the original source of this news.

Plenty of Spurs supporters replied to @HotspurRelated’s tweet sharing this update on the Lilywhites’ pursuit of Kim to share their thoughts on the possibility of the South Korean international joining the North London club.

Some Spurs fans shared that they aren’t very keen on the idea of Kim joining their club.

So, judging by the replies to this post, it seems as though opinion is split amongst Spurs fans about the possibility of Kim joining the North London club.

The 23-year-old has not got any experience of playing club football in Europe and with that in mind, it may be fair to say that there is an element of risk to this potential transfer, as it is unclear how his ability might translate to England’s top-flight.

However, given that Spurs are said to be ‘in talks’ over the 23-year-old’s signature, perhaps the North London club deem this signing to be a risk worth taking.
