Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a transfer update regarding the Whites’ Spanish goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
According to David Anderson, Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit is not ‘actively’ trying to sell the 33-year-old stopper this summer.
However, they will ‘consider offers’ for him and ‘will let him go if he wants to leave’.
That is due to the fact he will seemingly be the club’s second-choice goalkeeper for the upcoming Premier League season behind Illan Meslier.
This transfer update had lots of the Elland Road faithful talking after it was relayed to social media.
Leeds will also consider offers for Kiko Casilla. They are not actively trying to ship him out, but will let him go if he wants to leave because he will be No 2 behind Illan Meslier this season.#lufc

Sign Martinez from Arsenal and let him go.

Leeds secured the arrival of the Spaniard from Real Madrid during the January transfer window in 2019 on a free transfer (per Transfermarkt).
Would you mind if Kiko Casilla was sold by Leeds this summer?
No, I'm not bothered
Yes, he needs to stay
I personally prefer Meslier he’s got a cooler head doesn’t make rash decisions and he’s got a lot of potential in him

It’s the right thing for him to leave. Let’s be honest the bloke has been indifferent at best. We need a proper keeper someone who gives confidence and takes care of business in his penalty area. The sooner he goes the better for me.

During the 2019/20 Championship season, Casilla made 36 league appearances for the Whites in which he conceded 31 goals and kept 15 clean sheets (per Transfermarkt).
However, the Spaniard’s season was marred after he was banned for eight matches and fined £60,000 after being found guilty of racially abusing then-Charlton Athletic forward Jonathan Leko (per BBC).
I will pay Leeds to get rid of him

Just did not work for him at Leeds , he will probably sit on his huge wages .

Should have sacked him and solved the problem. A rare case of them dropping the ball under Radz.

As can be seen in these responses from Leeds supporters, many would not mind seeing the Spanish stopper leave the club this summer.
