After making his senior debut for Spurs back in 1999, King went on to make a total of 317 appearances for the Lilywhites in which he managed to score 12 goals and provide three assists before he retired in 2012.
Maybe he watched Serge Aurier giving defending tips to Tanganga and other academy boys??

You can tell he’s just watched Aurier try to defend in a 1 on 1

Now that the official Spurs Twitter account has shared this image onto their page, this sparked a huge reaction with many Spurs fans sharing their responses at seeing King in his new role.
There were some Spurs fans responding to the post who were delighted to see King during the training session.

It’s great to see some Spurs fans responding so positively at seeing King in his new coaching role. This shows that they still have a lot of love and respect for their former player.
These fans will now be hoping that King can have a positive impact on the team for next season defensively after Jose Mourinho’s side only managed to keep eight clean sheets throughout the 2019/20 league campaign.
However, with other Spurs fans picking up on the fact that King didn’t look too happy in the image, this could mean that he has seen something he didn’t like during the training session.
