Which player scored Spurs' first goal of the Premier League campaign?

The article claims that Spurs have privately denied that they are interested in signing Maitland-Niles and are not preparing a £20 million bid for the player this summer, despite being linked with such a move for him earlier this week.

This post then gathered a lot of replies from Spurs fans, who were quick to share their thoughts on this latest update.

Here’s a sample of Spurs fans responding to the post:

Since making his senior debut for Arsenal back in 2014, Maitland-Niles has gone on to make 100 appearances for the Gunners, in which he has managed to score three goals and provide five assists along the way.

Are you glad that Spurs aren't interested in Maitland-Niles?

Now that this news on Maitland-Niles has relayed on Twitter, this opened the door for lots of Spurs fans to have their say on the matter.

It appears that these Spurs fans are quite thankful that their club are reportedly not interested in signing the Arsenal man this summer.

With Spurs having sold Kyle Walker-Peters and with Serge Aurier being linked with a move away from the club, you would imagine Spurs will need to sign at least one right-back this summer, but it appears that Maitland-Niles isn’t one of their desired options for that role.
