A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a post from NUFC 360, which has relayed news from the Daily Mail about potential transfer targets for the Toon in this window.
The report claims that Newcastle want to sign Roma forward Patrik Schick and the Toon have also been linked with Todd Cantwell, Weston McKennie, and Tom Davies.
This has drawn a reaction from these Newcastle fans who don’t believe any of it.
Do you think Newcastle will sign any of these?
No, not a chance
Yes, we might get one
Doubt it

Non of them will be signed ? believe that
— Darrell Watson (@DarrellWatson8) August 25, 2020
There’s less than no chance @NUFC sign all those
— Chris Kelly (@chriskelly1985) August 25, 2020
That’s clearly not happening

I bet we don’t get any of them. We get this EVERY year well EVERY transfer window. Linked with some half decent players and end up with basically unknowns.

The Toon reportedly have a budget of around £35m plus player sales and considering that the Daily Mail have claimed that Schick alone would set them back £22m, it seems unlikely that Newcastle would be able to get all of those players signed within that budget.
It also looks like McKennie may be off to Juventus, so that is one player you can likely cross off that list.
The report claims that Schick is Newcastle’s top target and considering that Dwight Gayle, who was the Toon’s joint-second top goalscorer in the league last season, recently suffered an injury, the severity of which is still unknown, we feel that they could do with the attacker.
Certainly, these Newcastle fans would like to see him at their club.
Tom Davies would be a pointless signing
Schick and Mckennie would be class though?— Jack (@jchaytor16) August 25, 2020
I’ll happily take all of them maybe minus Tom Davies. But Weston Mckennie and Schick especially

Schick was on loan with RB Leipzig last season and he scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga, which is four more than the Toon’s strikers managed between them in the Premier League, so judging by that, he would be an upgrade on what they have.
However, looking at most of these replies, it seems that many Newcastle fans are not convinced that their club will be signing any of these players.
