A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a post from Craig Hope as he offered his view on the ownership situation at Newcastle United.
The Daily Mail reporter simply stated ‘his thoughts’ on Newcastle, tweeting: ‘Mike Ashley is owner. Steve Bruce is manager. Lee Charnley is managing director. And it will probably stay that way for the foreseeable future.’
This post came after he published a story about the Bellagraph Nova Group’s bid to buy the Toon, so that may suggest he doesn’t see this bid going very far.
This tweet drew the attention of these Newcastle fans, who agreed with Hope.
Do you agree with Hope?
Yes, the Staveley deal was the one to end this
No, Ashley will be gone soon
For what it’s worth no hope Craig hope I believe you ?

The news of the BN Group’s interest emerged over the weekend.
Still, as Hope states in his piece, the group’s opening offer was £20m below the asking price, and hasn’t had the opportunity to speak directly to Mike Ashley yet, with his lawyers still deciding if the bid is genuine or not.
The group has already made some pretty bold claims, including a potential move for Cristiano Ronaldo, but The Chronicle’s Mark Douglas is confused as to why documents described as confidential have been seemingly circulated around the media.
This post from Hope continued to draw the attention of Toon fans, who also think that Ashley will still be the Toon’s owner.
and another year goes by while the club goes through the motions

As of Tuesday morning, the BN Group has insisted that it is serious about buying Newcastle but has not heard back from Ashley’s lawyers yet.
So, we will just have to see if this bid reaches the next stage and if it can get to the Premier League, where Amanda Staveley’s Saudi-backed bid fell at the final hurdle as they withdrew due to the Premier League not making a decision.
