Can you score 20/20 on this Premier League quiz? Starting off easy, who is the top scorer in the Premier League this season?

This came after Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc stated that the 20-year-old would stay in Germany and be part of their squad for next season.

This led to Neville offering his view on Sancho and the deal.

“I think they’ll [Dortmund] want a settled team, they’ll want to go into the new season with a settled squad, but ultimately, the transfer window is not closed, and I am sure that once the Europa League is finished, United will continue [to pursue the deal].

“He’s a top player that, you know, you look at the way that Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] talks about culture and the young players with hunger, he’s the one that probably fits in, obviously an English player as well; [the] right-hand side is a position that I think United have probably struggled to fill for the last three or four seasons in terms of an out-and-out right-winger.

“My personal opinion is that I don’t think that deal is totally dead at this moment in time.”

So, it looks like Neville is a fan of Sancho and thinks there is a possibility the deal is not dead.

Do you think the Sancho deal is dead?

No, still a long time to sort out a deal

TIF Thoughts…

Zorc’s statement seems pretty strong; however, he also said similar in the past on Ousmane Dembele, who was then sold to Barcelona in the same transfer window, so Sancho moving to Old Trafford cannot be ruled out.

However, the player’s wages and agent fees have not been agreed, and neither has the fee with Dortmund, so unless there is movement on both fronts, Sancho might remain in Germany.

It is easy to see why the Red Devils want Sancho because he has scored 34 goals and provided 43 assists in 99 appearances for Dortmund, so Neville might be right (14:52), and the deal might not be dead despite what Zorc said.

However, for the deal to happen, a few things need to change.
