2018/19 season quiz: How many points did Jurgen Klopp's side accumulate in the Premier League?

Bryan was full of praise for Liverpool and Thiago and aired his thoughts on the Reds potentially signing the Spaniard.

It seems that Bryan is jealous that the Reds could be signing the 29-year-old, but he is full of praise for the move because of the potential fee and how he will fit into the side.

According to Bayern officials, Thiago has told Bayern Munich that he wants to go and he has agreed personal terms with Jurgen Klopp’s side, but, as of yet, the Reds have not agreed a fee with the Bundesliga side, though he is thought to have an asking price of €30m (£27m), as per The Guardian.

He said: “I think what they’re paying for Thiago – that is one of the bargains of the last decade.

“I am really jealous. I am really upset that Liverpool have got him. Because I really wanted him at my club, but that’s dreaming big.

“I think it’s a very, very calculated move by Liverpool to get in a player, not just for the sake of bringing in another midfielder, but I can see exactly where and how he will fit into that team.”

TIF Thoughts…

Thiago is still involved in the Champions League with Bayern, and perhaps his future will be sorted after the tournament ends, but it is clear that Thiago wants to join Liverpool.

It is easy to see why the Reds want him considering he has averaged a 7.79 rating in the Champions League this season and a 7.47 in the Bundesliga as well.

Bryan is full of praise for this move, but he talks about the deal as if it is done, but with Liverpool refusing to pay the €30m (£27m) that Bayern want, this deal is not wrapped up just yet.
