Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

Romano revealed that the Yorkshire club are “seriously interested” in signing Udinese attacking-midfielder Rodrigo de Paul, confirming what Mike McGrath originally reported.

Romano said that the price tag for De Paul is around €30 million/€35 million (£26.8 million/£31.3 million) and that there are currently ongoing talks between the two clubs over the potential transfer deal.

In his response to Romano’s post, Hay said that Romano is “about as well connected” as any journalist in Italy. Hay then revealed that Leeds “aren’t denying” this reported interest in De Paul before adding that this current summer transfer window “gets more and more fascinating” for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

This post from Hay then gathered a lot of replies from Leeds fans who were quick to share their thoughts on the matter.

Here’s a sample of Leeds fans responding to Hay’s post:

The 26-year-old, who is currently valued at £27 million, signed to Udinese back in the 2016 summer transfer window from Spanish side Valencia for a fee of £2.7 million.

Since then, the Argentine has gone on to make 146 appearances for Udinese in which he has managed to score 25 goals and provide 25 assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).
