Supporters of Leeds United have been reacting to a club announcement regarding JD becoming the Whites’ official sleeve sponsor.
On Wednesday morning, the Yorkshire outfit’s official Twitter account relayed a link to a post on their website which revealed the news about the ‘exciting new partnership’ (per Leeds United).
The sponsorship deal will see the ‘leading sports fashion retailer JD’ become the club’s official sleeve sponsor for the 2020/21 Premier League season.
Leeds’ post on their website went on to describe the agreement as ‘the latest ground-breaking commercial deal for the club’.
After the news was relayed to fans on social media (per Leeds United), lots of them aired their delight.

As stated in the report shared by the club, JD’s logo will ‘proudly‘ sit on the left sleeve of the men’s and women’s kits as well as the adult and junior replica shirts.

Marcelo Bielsa’s outfit are set to kick off their Premier League campaign on 12th September when they face reigning champions Liverpool away from home (per BBC).
While some fans seemed pleased that the JD logo would be on the club’s shirt sleeves for the 2020/21 season, others aired that they were not impressed.
