Starting with an easy one how many points did Leeds end the season with?

The Athletic reporter talked about many topics relating to Leeds, one of them being the contract talks between Bielsa and the club, with the Argentine yet to agree to a new deal at Elland Road.

Here is what he said on that:

“I’ve spoken to people on both sides of this – Bielsa’s side and the club – and everybody seems extremely confident and optimistic that it will get done, nobody seems to think there is any major issue here or that it’s a problem.

“They would have told you, certainly from the club’s end, two or three weeks ago that it was likely to take this long because these things are never straightforward with [Bielsa] and they’re never simple and it is all very, very detailed, and he wants it all to be finalised and tied up and agreed before he signs.”

It seems, then, that people representing both Bielsa and the club do not fear that the contract talks with the Argentinian will not be successful and that the club were actually expecting this to take as long as it has.

Do you think Bielsa will sign a new contract?

Yes, he will sign

Yes, he will sign

No, he could leave

No, he could leave

TIF Thoughts…

Contract talks between Bielsa and Leeds supposedly started near the end of July, and though there has been no conclusion to them yet, it does not seem as if either side are worried that it will not be sorted out, according to Hay.

Bielsa recently helped to end Leeds’ 16-year exile from the Premier League, and we think it would be great to see him in the Premier League up against those who have admired him, such as Pep Guardiola.

So, hopefully, for the Whites’ sake, this is all resolved soon.
