Starting with an easy one how many points did Leeds end the season with?

One such target that Hay mentioned was Liverpool’s Harry Wilson, who will be allowed to depart Anfield this summer and has been linked with a move to the Whites, as well as Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.

This is what The Athletic reporter had to say on Leeds’ interest in the 23-year-old former Derby County winger.

“They’re absolutely interested.

“Leeds always say to me that any time [Victor] Orta does a list of potential targets or players that he likes, Wilson is always on it.

“They’re a big fan of his, I think they would have been keen previously had it been possible, but obviously Liverpool did the loan down to Bournemouth.

“The talk of interest in him is absolutely credible. Whether or not it’s one that Leeds really expect to happen this summer or really intend to do, I’m not so sure.”

So, it seems as if Wilson is of interest to the Whites, but they might not be making a move for him this summer.

TIF Thoughts…

Wilson scored seven goals for Bournemouth in the 2019/20 season but earned an average rating of just 6.52 from his 31 league appearances for the Cherries.

However, the season before that in the Championship for Derby Wilson scored 16 goals and provided four assists.

So, in the past two seasons in both the Championship and the Premier League, he has proved he can score goals.

The Reds will allow him to leave, and there are many Premier League clubs sniffing around, so it will be interesting to see if the Whites make a move for the Welsh international.
