Starting with an easy one how many points did Leeds end the season with?

The piece states that a Leeds source has told them that the club are looking for a senior left-back and that the Croatian is on their radar.

Marcelo Bielsa is believed to have made signing a left-back a priority this summer, and the Whites might be ready to test the Gers’ resolve on Barisic.

However, the report also states that Rangers are well placed to keep the 27-year-old or get a good fee for him because he only just signed a new four-year deal in January.

TIF Thoughts…

Stuart Dallas played 17 games as a left-back in the 2019/20 season, while Ezgjan Alioski and Barry Douglas played 13 and six respectively from the start at left-back.

It looks as if Bielsa is keen on signing the £3.6m-rated Barisic, who has provided 14 assists for Rangers in the 2019/20 season, Thursday’s Europa League game, and has contributed two goals, so you can see why Bielsa might be interested.

Dallas was very solid at left-back in the 2019/20 campaign earning a 7.00 rating from his games there, but maybe Bielsa wants to use him somewhere else next season.

Either way, it will be interesting to see if the Whites make a move for Barisic as he has been a creative force for Rangers, but could he manage to perform in the Premier League?

Well, we will have to see if the Gers sell him to Leeds before we can decide on that one.

This could be a transfer to keep an eye on as the summer goes on.
