Starting with an easy one- apart from Paris Saint-Germain, which other French club did Edouard play for?

The tweet carried a link to the confirmation on the official website and also had a video of some of Elyounoussi’s best moments from the 2019/20 season.

This caught the attention of many Celtic fans and they rushed to this tweet. Some of them were delighted by the news and made their opinion clear.

Will Elyounoussi score more than ten goals in the 2020/21 season?

No doubt about it

Elyounoussi had initially spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Parkhead. He had contributed to 13 goals in 20 games in all competitions. In the Premiership, he contributed to six goals in ten appearances as well (via Transfermarkt)

Other Celtic fans flocked to this update. They lauded the player and began talking about what he can bring to the club.

All in all, these Celtic fans seem pretty pleased by the fact that Elyounoussi is staying at the club for another season. Some of them feel that if he stays fit, the former Basel man can become an important player for the Hoops.

The 25-year-old had suffered a foot injury in the 2019/20 season and as a result, he had missed 11 games. This could have possibly impacted how he played in the campaign for the Hoops.

So, seemingly Celtic fans know that if Elyounoussi doesn’t have injury issues, he can be an even better player for the Bhoys. His numbers are promising and Celtic fans can only hope that he plays a role in helping them win the tenth Premiership title in a row next season.
