Starting with an easy one- apart from Paris Saint-Germain, which other French club did Edouard play for?

After the game, the Celtic Twitter account posted the result and said that it was a ‘good pre-season test’ for the players. Many Celtic fans flocked to this post and began talking about Edouard and how his performance in the game was concerning.

Do you think Edouard is looking to leave Celtic?

No, he wants to stay

No, he wants to stay

A couple of fans seem to think that Edouard didn’t look interested and they fear if that is a bad sign for the Hoops or not. One fan even stated that Edouard played as if he ‘didn’t care’ about his performance.

Some other Celtic fans also issued their concerns about the Frenchman’s showing.

There is clearly concern amongst Celtic fans about Edouard not playing well in the game.

Considering that the Frenchman has been linked with moves to the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Leicester City, it is easy to see why fans may be concerned. Neil Lennon has already confirmed that the club is in talks to hand Edouard a new contract, so that must come as good news for Celtic fans.

The 22-year-old had scored as many as 27 goals in all competitions last season and had won the club’s Player of the Year award. It shows that he is a valuable player for the Hoops and Celtic fans can only hope that he stays at Parkhead.
