Supporters of Celtic have been reacting to a transfer link which has emerged between the Hoops and Union Berlin’s Sebastian Andersson.
According to Kicker, Neil Lennon’s outfit is interested in recruiting the striker and will be submitting an offer of €6m (£5.4m) for him.
However, the Parkhead club is not the only potential suitor for the 29-year-old Swede.
Reportedly, interest from Ligue 1 outfit LOSC Lille could ‘become concrete’ if they submit an offer for the forward.
This transfer report was then relayed to supporters on social media by Inside The SPFL and lots of the Celtic Park faithful flocked to it to air their thoughts.
Celtic linked with Union Berlin's Swedish striker Sebastian Anderson, the report from Kicker suggests they're going to meet his €6m but-out clause, to be honest I'd be very surprised if they paid that type of money for a player who's just turned 29.

That would mean we have 6 strikers……I don’t think so

6 million euro for a 29 year old?
Lawell would have a heart attack.

In the Bundesliga over the 2019/20 season, Andersson showed himself to be relatively prolific as he bagged a respectable number of goals, with 12 in 33 appearances (per Transfermarkt).
Would you be pleased if Celtic signed Sebastian Andersson this summer?
No, he's not good enough
Yes, he seems a talent
another striker , cant see it not unless a couple are going out the door

If he does come then Eddy will be gone.

Alongside his fairly respectable goals return, the forward also sealed an impressive 7.07/10 average rating for Union Berlin in the league (per WhoScored).
The Swedish national’s solid average rating made him the German outfit’s second-best performer in the Bundesliga.
Pie in the sky stuff

Be suprised if pedro spent that on a 29 year old no re sale value

I’d rather spend the money on Ivan Toney tbh. If we bring in Ajeti we won’t be singing any more strikers I’d imagine.

As can be seen in these responses from Celtic fans, many were unsure on the transfer link with Andersson despite the supposed fee being below his £6.3m market value.
