Celtic fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which former Hoops player Kieran Tierney reflected on Arsenal’s victory over Manchester City on Sunday.
The north London club’s impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester City saw them qualify for the final of this season’s FA Cup, with Kieran Tierney’s performance standing out as one of Arsenal’s best on the day.
The Scottish left-back earned a 7.63 WhoScored match rating in the fixture, one of the higher ratings he has earned since his £24.3 million move to Arsenal from Celtic last summer.
And, after the defender posted some photographs from the Manchester City fixture on Twitter, fans of Celtic flocked to have their say on the matter, with many praising their former player for his performance.

After coming through the Celtic youth system, Tierney went on to feature 170 times for the Hoops, scoring eight goals and providing a remarkable 37 assists, helping his side to win five Scottish Premiership titles in a row, as well as three Scottish Cups and three Scottish League Cups.
As such, it is no wonder why many of these Celtic fans are clearly so fond of Tierney, even after his move to England.
Talking about you in the boozer just now wee man, still divides opinion amongst us fans but imo it’s great to see a young Scot and Celt show them down south how class you are and can mix it with the best ?????

It would appear that, even though he no longer plays for their club, as well as the fact that one fan claimed that the player still ‘divides opinion’ amongst the club’s fanbase, these Celtic fans are extremely fond of Tierney, with lots of them wishing the left-back well in his career with the Gunners.
