Fans of Celtic have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club shared photos from a recent training session.

The post by the official Celtic Twitter account contained four photos of several Celtic players and staff during the training session, as well as stating: ‘First day as an Adidas football club and full contact training at Lennoxtown… things are looking up.’

The pictures of the Celtic players come following the recent announcement by the club that they have agreed a five-year deal with Adidas, who will supply the club with all training kit and shirts.

And, judging by a statement issued on the club’s website, the deal is viewed by Celtic as a great commercial success, with the club boasting that they have joined some of the world’s top clubs, such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, FC Bayern Munich and Juventus in being part of the Adidas group.

In addition to this, it seems as if Adidas has certainly got off on a good foot with the fans, many of whom have been swooning over the players in the new training kit.

One fan even stated that Greg Taylor looks ready for retirement.

With Celtic going for their 10th Scottish Premiership title in a row next season, Adidas appears to have joined the club at what is potentially a rather prominent moment in the club’s history – as, should Celtic go on to win ’10-in-a-row’, the shirt that they are donning upon the completion of this feat will live long in the memory of Celtic fans.
