Some Celtic fans have been responding to Hoops centre-back Christopher Jullien’s latest tweet, in which the French defender reflected on the Hoops’ pre-season trip to France and looked ahead to the start of the 2020/21 Scottish Premiership campaign.

Jullien stated that Celtic’s pre-season trip to France was ‘bittersweet’ in his post, which may be understandable considering that the Hoops failed to win any of their three games against French opposition during their trip to Jullien’s home country. After drawing with OGC Nice, the Hoops lost to both Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Celtic’s 27-year-old Frenchman declared that ‘the most important is ahead’ in his tweet, before delivering a reminder that there are only two weeks to go until the Hoops are back in Scottish Premiership action

Jullien’s post caught the attention of some Hoops supporters who have been reacting to his tweet.

Some Celtic fans praised the defender in response to this post, with one Hoops supporter sharing that they believe Jullien is the ‘only decent centre-back’ at Parkhead.

Celtic will compete for what would be a 10th-straight Scottish Premiership title in the 2020/21 campaign. As per TalkSPORT, no club in Scottish football history has ever won 10 straight top-flight titles and with that in mind, it may be fair to say that it would be mightily significant if the Hoops managed to achieve that next season. One particular Celtic fan replied to Jullien’s post to discuss the importance of the coming season.

Considering how important the 2020/21 season will be for Celtic, it may be understandable why these Hoops fans shared some positivity for Jullien in response to his latest tweet, as despite the fact that they failed to win any of their recent fixtures in France, these supporters may want to get behind their players and will them on heading into what could be a history-making campaign.
