Many Celtic fans have been responding to a post from the club’s stadium manager, Robin Buchanan, after he shared an image on Twitter of an empty Parkhead with the caption ‘just another day in the office’.
The Scottish Premiership season came to a halt back in March due to the recent global pandemic and the Hoops were eventually crowned champions for the ninth successive time.
The 2020/21 season is still on course to kick off on August 1, however, Scotland’s clinical director Jason Leitch said that reports fans will be allowed to return to the stadiums from July 23 are ‘inaccurate’ (as per BBC Sport).
The image of the club’s home has sparked quite the reaction on social media. Here is how a sample of the Celtic faithful have responded:
Looking good ??

Have you become disinterested with all the takeover talk?
Yes
No
Whilst some fans gushed over the view, others were curious to see whether or not German sportswear giants Adidas had its branding in the stadium, as their deal with Celtic to become their kit suppliers officially began on July 1.
I see some @adidasfootball around the stadium ??

It’s clear that all of these supporters have missed visiting Celtic Park, however, for the time being, it remains unclear when they will be allowed to attend fixtures again.
