Fans of Newcastle United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Lee Ryder relays quotes from Newcastle manager Steve Bruce regarding the club’s ongoing takeover bid.
In the post, Ryder relays the quotes of Bruce, who, in response to questions regarding the progression of Newcastle’s potential takeover, stated: “I am asked this every press conference. I am bored and fed up of answering it. Can we move on?”
In reaction to the post, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting that they cannot move on as Newcastle’s potential takeover is all they care about, while others have suggested that should the takeover go through, they fear for Steve Bruce’s position as manager of the club.

He will be moving on when it happens.

He won’t know anything and even if he did he’s not going to tell now is he?

This is a hidden message from Steve Bruce. The takeover is close!
He uses the word “Can”
“Press” has a capital P to represent PIF.
Biggest of all, he uses the word “ASKED” & if we remove the K E D from “ASKED” we get A S.
Reverse that and you get S A. Saudi Arabia #NUFC https://t.co/8QdhA7pNqF— John Potts #NUFC (@johnpottm) July 5, 2020
It is understandable why Bruce is fed up with questions regarding the takeover, as for the last three months, much of the media attention surrounding Newcastle has been focused on the deal.
Are you feeling frustrated over the length of time that this takeover is taking to receive approval?
YES
NO
However, with Premier League CEO Richard Masters recently suggesting that the takeover deal could be close to a resolution, it appears that Bruce and Newcastle fans may not have much longer before they find out whether or not the Premier League has approved or denied the bid.
He’s got a point. It is very boring now.

Fair play to him. Saying in public what we all think. Getting beyond boring now

Pretty much knows it’s not happening! Atleast his job is kept ??

As such, it would appear that these Newcastle fans are just as fed up with the progression of the takeover as Steve Bruce is, and in truth, we can’t blame them for that.
