Sam Matterface, Alex Crook, and Matt Holland discussed all things Premier League during a recent edition of TalkSPORT’s GameDay podcast and Holland shared his thoughts on Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Raul Jimenez and his future during the show.

Ahead of Monday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace, Wolves sit in seventh place in England’s top-flight and it may be fair to say that Jimenez played a significant role in getting them into that position on the Premier League table this season.

To start this quiz on Ruben Neves with an easy one, in the region of how much did the Old Gold pay to secure the midfielder's services?

Ahead of Monday’s fixtures, Jimenez scored 17 goals in his 36 league appearances for Wolves this term, making him the joint-fifth highest goalscorer in England’s top-flight at this time. Jimenez’s impressive goalscoring performances have not gone unnoticed this season and former Republic of Ireland international Holland was full of praise for the attacker during his appearance on a recent edition of TalkSPORT’s GameDay podcast

Here is what Holland had to say about the £36m-rated Wolves man: “Jimenez is in great form as well, his goal against Burnley was absolutely top-drawer. I’m worried about whether he’ll still be at Wolves next season because he’s someone that has surely caught [the] attention. He’s been absolutely terrific and, as I say, the goal he scored against Burnley was out of this world.”

Ahead of Monday’s clash with Palace, Jimenez scored over a third of Wolves’ Premier League goals in the 2019/20 campaign. With that in mind, it might be understandable why Holland believes that the striker may have caught attention from other clubs as it may be fair to say that the Mexican attacker has been quite prolific this term.
