The Express and Star journalist Joe Edwards has provided an update regarding the release of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ new kits.

Wolves are currently part-way through a four-year partnership which will see sports brand Adidas make the Old Gold’s kits for the next two seasons (per Wolves).

Furthermore, having signed what was described as a ‘long-term agreement‘ with ManBetX last summer, it seems likely that the gambling brand will again be the club’s main shirt sponsor.

In the latest episode of the E&S Wolves Podcast, Edwards revealed what he knew about when the new kits for next season would be released.

He said: “I have got an update and I don’t think it’s been a question, but I think a few [fans] are wondering about the kit. A lot of Premier League teams are announcing their kits, [there] should be something within the next couple of weeks.

“I mean, Chelsea have started wearing [their kit for next season] and a few others have started wearing theirs before the season has ended, but there should be something within the next couple of weeks, I’d imagine.

“[I’m] not sure whether that leaked one that came out is the right one or things like that but yeah, we’ll find out for sure within a couple of weeks, I’d imagine. That’s what I’ve been told.”

TIF Thoughts…

It seems that Wolves fans will not have to wait too much longer to set their eyes upon the kit which the Old Gold will be donning next season.
