West Ham United insider @ExWHUemployee has revealed that there are ‘some legs’ in two Irons-related transfer rumours.

According to a report by But! Football Club, the Hammers have some interest in SC Amiens’ French striker Serhou Guirassy.

Another report from Mundo Deportivo has also revealed that David Moyes’ outfit has an interest in signing Senegalese right-back Moussa Wague from Barcelona.

So, in the latest episode of The West Ham Way Podcast, @ExWHUemployee discussed the two transfer rumours and admitted that there were “some legs” behind them.

To start this quiz on Mark Noble with a tough one, in what year did the midfielder make his league debut for the Hammers?

He said: “There is some legs in the Guirassy [rumour], who’s at Amiens in France, who’s a forward. There is legs in that, we’ve scouted him a number of times.

“Same as Moussa Wague. He’s at Barcelona, the right-back there.

“I brought his name [up] in January and mentioned that we were very keen on him. So, there is history to these players.

“So, they will be on the radar but again, nothing is going to happen until we know what league we’re in, as I keep saying.”

TIF Thoughts…

As can be judged from what the in-the-know journalist had to say, it does seem there is a chance that the right-back and the forward could become West Ham players in the summer.

Would you be happy if West Ham signed the two players?

In the one La Liga appearance that Wague has made for Barcelona this season, he delivered a relatively solid 6.88/10 match rating (per WhoScored), which could bode well.

Guirassy, though, certainly appears to be worth targeting as he was Amiens’ second-best performing player over the 2019/20 Ligue 1 season (per WhoScored).

To earn his spot as the second-best performer, the Frenchman delivered a 6.93/10 average rating after scoring nine goals in 23 league appearances.
