Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some quotes from Jose Mourinho regarding Ryan Sessegnon and Dennis Cirkin, following the 1-0 win against Everton on Monday night.
The 20-year-old was left out of the squad to face the Toffees and when Mourinho was asked about his absence, he confirmed that he isn’t injured and praised academy graduate Cirkin, saying (per Football.london): ‘I like Dennis so much, he works very, very hard.”
After The Spurs Web shared these quotes on Twitter, lots of Lilywhites supporters have been speculating about the future of Sessegnon in Mourinho’s side. The England Under-21 international was signed from Fulham for £25 million last summer but has made just six appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

Meanwhile, one Spurs fan just spoke about his excitement to potentially see Cirkin in the first-team in the near future.
@zCazzys you called this earlier in the week. Cirkin seems to be impressing José & that’s a very good sign for the player going forward

Overall, while this is good news for Cirkin that Mourinho is clearly impressed with him, it appears as if Sessegnon might need to work a lot harder if he wants to make any appearances between now and the end of the season.
