Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the latest reported news on Christian Eriksen.
According to Italian news outlet Sport Mediaset (via Ricky Sacks), the Danish international is struggling to adapt to Antonio Conte’s philosophy, with the suggestion that his time with the Serie A side has been less than successful so far and Inter are potentially open to him leaving the San Siro.
Since joining Inter from Spurs in the January transfer window, the 28-year-old has made just 11 appearances in the Italian top flight, six of which have been from the bench, contributing one goal and two assists, which has seen him average a disappointing 6.63 rating (per WhoScored).
The former Ajax man enjoyed a really strong spell with Spurs during his time in north London; contributing 69 goals and 89 assists in 305 appearances (per Transfermarkt) for the Lilywhites, but confirmed that he was keen to leave following the defeat in the Champions League final last season.
Would you take Eriksen back at Spurs?

He’s going to be the new Bale. Will be linked with a return to Spurs every transfer window until he’s 72 years old?

Sometimes the grass isn’t always greener on the other side,he should swallow his pride and ask Spurs to take him back.

Lots of Spurs fans were keen to make the argument that perhaps the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
The grass ain’t always greener.
It’s happened so many times. A player has it so good at a club, well paid, respected, important, loved.
They get restless and think they are bigger than they are, throw a strop, push for a move and it doesn’t work out. Legacy ruined.— Jose IN! (@GaryHasAPoint) July 16, 2020
Be careful what you wish for!

Grass isn’t always greener Christian but at the end of the day he put in a shift over his years for us so I wish him the best in finding a new club.

Other Spurs fans were less sympathetic in their replies.
No longer good enough for the premiership. He’s well and truly peaked.

It’s sad to see, but when you down tools as he did, you can understand the lack of sympathy. This is a lesson he will be learning for a long time now. It will be interesting to see where he goes from here really???

Some Spurs fans even suggested that they would take the Danish midfielder back at the north London club.
Let’s bring him home?

Overall, it seems as if a lot of Spurs fans seem happy to hear that Eriksen is struggling with Inter after he emphasised he wanted to leave the Lilywhites.
