Talia Coren, Antony Costa, and Keiran Pedley joined host Ricky Sacks on a recent edition of the Last Word On Spurs podcast where they shared their thoughts on the latest goings-on with the north London club.

One of the topics of discussion that came up during this podcast was the future of Spurs striker Harry Kane. Earlier this year, TalkSPORT reported that Kane put some clubs, such as Manchester United and Juventus, ‘on alert’ after he discussed his future during a Q&A on his Instagram page

As per TalkSPORT, when asked about his future and whether or not he would ever leave Spurs during this Q&A, Kane said: “I’m an ambitious player. I want to become a top top player, so it all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team.”

Sacks and Coren spent some time discussing Kane’s future during this recent edition of the Last Word On Spurs podcast where Sacks said: “He’s now scored against all 29 teams that he’s faced in the Premier League, what is Kane thinking on that pitch, when he sees what’s around him?”

Coren replied to Sacks by saying: “I think he’s just got to be thinking – ‘what am I doing?’ I think his goal is 100%, and I truly believe, if he could be a one-club man, he would.

“He wants to stay at Spurs, he wants to win stuff at Spurs, and he would love to stay at Spurs, but, he’s also said – and I know he caused quite a bit of drama a couple of months ago when he said ‘of course I want to stay, I’ll have to reconsider if stuff doesn’t change.’

“He has every right. He’s one of the best forwards going in world football and he’s sitting there with [Serge] Aurier chucking in a ball and [Moussa] Sissoko missing from close range, he doesn’t need that.”

Do you think that Harry Kane is considering leaving Spurs?

TIF Thoughts…

Last season, Spurs reached the UEFA Champions League final and they finished inside the Premier League’s Champions League qualification places. However, this season they were knocked out of the Champions League in the last 16 and they currently sit outside of the Premier League’s top four places, which may indicate that the club are not moving in a positive direction at present.

With that in mind, and with the knowledge that in the past, Kane has said that his Spurs future depends on how they progress as a team, it may be understandable why Coren believes that the forward “has got to be” considering his options at present.
