Supporters of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a transfer link which has emerged between the club and LOSC Lille’s Victor Osimhen.
According to @ManuLonjon, Spurs representatives were set to meet with the player despite exchanges between Osimhen and Napoli ‘in recent hours’ on Monday.
The tweet goes on to explain that a decision over the player’s future is likely to be reached by the upcoming weekend.
On Wednesday, @thespursweb subsequently shared this to their followers and it had lots of them talking.

Over the 2019/20 Ligue 1 season, Osimhen was in impressive form as he bagged 13 goals and four assists in 27 league appearances (per WhoScored).
The forward’s solid goal record made him Lille’s best-performing player in the league with a respectable 7.14/10 average rating.
However, there was doubt that there was any truth to the move amongst some Spurs fans.
If people think we are going to pay £45m+ for a backup striker you are out of your mind.

I think @FabrizioRomano has already said he is pretty much a Napoli player. Probably too late

With Fabrizio Romano having stated that the striker is just ‘one step’ away from signing for Napoli, there appear to be conflicting reports regarding Osimhen.
