Many Tottenham Hotspur supporters have flocked to a recent tweet from the club in which they have relayed some of Jose Mourinho’s comments following their victory over Everton.
The Lilywhites defeated Carlo Ancelotti’s side 1-0 thanks to Michael Keane’s own goal in what was described as a ‘tepid contest’.
Following the match, Mourinho was quoted as saying: “Everybody gave what they could give, we had a very solid performance, we were never in trouble, we were always in control.”
It appears, however, that not all of the Spurs faithful have responded well to his comments. Here is how a sample of them have reacted via social media.
In control of what? Not to score? Okay if they score? Sub Son, the only player that wasn’ in control and was threatening to score? We saw the match. It was live on TV. Be glad we got the 3 points, and be humbler.

“always in control”?? Hugo might argue differently.
Hindsight is truly a wonderful thing, Jose.

I think he needs at least £300,000,000 next season to compete.

Have you grown frustrated by Jose Mourinho?
Yes
No
One fan took a far more positive view on Monday night’s performance and appears to be very optimistic with regards to Spurs’ upcoming fixtures against Bournemouth and Arsenal.
Much needed 3 points and stability. Time to turn on the attack agaisnt Bournemouth on Thursday so we are ready to roll Arsenal 5-0 on Sunday

It’s clear from the above responses that many of these Tottenham fans disagree with the 57-year-old’s assessment of their recent fixture. Mourinho has taken charge of the north London club on 30 occasions so far, winning 13 times, drawing six and losing 11 (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
Given they reached the UEFA Champions League final last season, we can assume most supporters are unhappy with their current position in the Premier League and it appears some have grown frustrated with Mourinho.
