Fans of Tottenham Hotspur have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which Spurs midfielder Giovani Lo Celso reflected on the club’s victory over Newcastle.
The 3-1 victory, which was sealed by goals from Son Heung-Min and two from Harry Kane, was much needed for Spurs in their hunt to qualify for European football next season, with the club currently occupying seventh place in the Premier League table, prior to Thursday’s fixtures.
And, in recognition of the result, Spurs midfielder Lo Celso tweeted regarding the match ‘3 big points. Let’s go’, before sharing several photos from the fixture.
In reaction to his post, fans of the club flocked to have their say on the matter, with many praising the midfielder for his performance in the match, while other simply sent the Argentine messages of adoration.

Since moving to Spurs from Real Betis in a £28.8 million deal last summer, Lo Celso has featured 26 times in the Premier League, providing one assist and averaging a slightly disappointing WhoScored match rating of 6.56.
However, over the 24-year-old’s five appearances in the Champions League, he had fared considerably better, scoring one goal and averaging a much more impressive 7.31 match rating.
Has Giovani Lo Celso been disappointing for Spurs this season?
No, been good enough
Yes, he's been under-par
And, judging by their reactions to his post, fans of the club are already enamoured with Lo Celso, despite his slightly concerning league form.
Class again ???

With just two games remaining of the season left to play for Spurs, European qualification is still within their grasp.
However, in order to stand the best chance of landing a European spot, Jose Mourinho’s side can afford no more slip-ups, while also hoping that other results go their way.
