How well do you remember Heung-Min Son's time with Spurs? - The Lilywhites signed Son from which Bundesliga side?

Laurens spoke about other issues but spent a bit of time talking about Spurs and, in particular, the lack of service to Harry Kane.

Here is what Laurens had to say about Kane and Tottenham.

(06:53) “There was nothing I saw in this Spurs performance and whatever [Jose] Mourinho tried to do today [Sunday] to make me think ‘ok this is good this positive this is an improvement this is better.’

“This is the same Spurs team I’ve seen since the restart, it’s the same Spurs team I’ve seen since Mourinho took over back in November, there’s just nothing new, there’s no pattern of play.

“Harry Kane, I mean you’ve got one of the best strikers in the world, and he gets no service; how is that even possible?

“How can you have Harry Kane in your team, and you don’t give him anything, nothing, no crosses, no through ball nothing at all.”

It seems as if Laurens does not enjoy Tottenham under Mourinho and feels bad for Kane.

Do you think Kane gets enough service?

TIF Thoughts…

Since the restart, Kane has scored two goals taking his total number of goals under Mourinho to nine in just 16 games, which is a pretty good return.

However, he is goalless in his last three games and against Everton he had more touches in his box than the Toffees’ – so that does perhaps show that he is a little isolated and is struggling for service.

Laurens does not hold back in his view of how Tottenham play and how they fail to provide the service for Kane, but his goal record under Mourinho suggests that maybe it isn’t that bad.
