Not only has the 26-year-old been banned for four matches, but he has also been handed a fine of £40,000 by the Football Association.

So, after Gold relayed the post containing the details of Dier’s ban to social media, lots of Spurs fans responded to it with their views.

This season, the Englishman has been in okay form for Jose Mourinho’s outfit, having been their 15th-best performer in the Premier League (per WhoScored).

To earn his spot as the 15th-best performer, Dier has picked up a 6.72/10 average rating.

As can be seen in what these Spurs fans had to say, it is clear that they were left furious with the four-match ban that was handed to Dier by the FA.
