So, after Gold relayed the post containing the details of Dier’s ban to social media, lots of Spurs fans responded to it with their views.

Dier’s ban shows us one thing, we desperately need a new centre back or two in the Summer. We look very short there.

The ban will see Dier miss games against Bournemouth, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Leicester City and return for the final game of the season against Crystal Palace.
Have the FA been overly harsh with Eric Dier's ban?
Yes, it's far too harsh
No, it's about right
If he’d have been a squad player it would have been a slap on the wrist but cos it’s spurs …..

This season, the Englishman has been in okay form for Jose Mourinho’s outfit, having been their 15th-best performer in the Premier League (per WhoScored).
To earn his spot as the 15th-best performer, Dier has picked up a 6.72/10 average rating.
Absolute joke

Four games that’s a joke. Jose will go crazy.

Taken them almost 4 months to make this decision, was always getting a ban but the huge delay is very strange.

Absolutely disgusted with the @fa this is extreme bias. Nothing for Guendozi for grabbing a man around the throat. 4 game ban for Dier and left so late it could harm us v Arsenal

As can be seen in what these Spurs fans had to say, it is clear that they were left furious with the four-match ban that was handed to Dier by the FA.
