Many Newcastle United supporters have taken to social media to discuss Danny Rose’s performance on Monday evening.
Steve Bruce’s side were held to a goalless draw by Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium, taking their points tally up to 44 in the English top-flight this season.
Despite the point on the road, Toon fans flocked to Twitter to voice their frustrations over the on-loan full-back.
Here is how a sample of the St. James’ Park faithful have responded to the Tottenham Hotspur loanee’s performance on social media following the match.
Danny Rose being his absolutely useless footballer self. There is no question as to what to do. BRING BACK JETRO #nufc

Rose, who is now valued at £14.4 million (as per Transfermarkt), left north London to join the Magpies on loan back in January and is due to return to the Lilywhites at the end of the month. Since arriving in the North East, he has made 12 appearances for Newcastle, but has yet to make a good impression on the fans, based on these responses.
Still hasn’t registered with me that Danny Rose plays for #Toon. Brain simply isn’t accepting of it.

According to WhoScored, Rose’s performance earned him a performance rating of 7.16/10, however, judging by the above responses, it’s clear these fans were unimpressed by what they saw from the 30-year-old.
