Man City fan? We bet you can't get 100% on this Yaya Toure quiz. We'll start you off with an easy one... Who did Yaya Toure sign for City from back in 2010?

On the topic of Torres, Addison shared this latest update on the Spaniard.

He said: “He’s quite clearly a Leroy Sane replacement for Manchester City. Valencia are believed to want around £40 million for him, even though he does only have one year left on his contract. So, they’re certainly not going to let him go cheap. It’s one of those, he looks like an excellent player, some comparisons to Jadon Sancho – I think he’s that sort of similar age, similar sort of player, but obviously will come a lot cheaper. So, I think it certainly looks like a deal that Manchester City are going to get done. I think it could be a good signing for them and it will be one to watch out for.”

The 20-year-old, who is currently valued at £40.5 million according to Transfermarkt, has made a total of 44 appearances for the Spanish club this season in which he managed to score six goals and provide eight assists along the way (per Transfermarkt).

As Addison also mentioned in the podcast, City sold winger Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich in recent weeks for “an initial fee of about £44.7m that could rise to £54.8m.”

Torres could be a useful addition to City’s squad as one of his player strengths include his ability to make key passes. This would suit City as one of their strengths include their ability to create goalscoring chances using through balls (per WhoScored).

TIF Thoughts…

It would make sense for City to buy another winger this summer to take Sane’s place in the squad. According to Addison, it now seems almost certain that the Manchester club will sign the young Spaniard in the current transfer window.
