2018/19 season quiz: How many points did Jurgen Klopp's side accumulate in the Premier League?

During the episode, Carragher was asked what his thoughts are on the midfielder and how he thinks Henderson will be remembered for his time at the club.

Carragher said: “[I’ve] always been a massive fan of Jordan Henderson. At times, people have been critical of him, which I just couldn’t get my head around at all. I’m not just trying to be clever after the event. But if you’re a manager or you’re a lad in the dressing room, you want as many Jordan Hendersons in your dressing room as possible.

“Fantastic professional, great player, trains well every day, sets an example, he’s a leader, people look up to him. Him and James Milner in that dressing room, the leadership qualities that they show.

“I’m just delighted for Jordan and his family for what they’ve been through off the pitch, personal things as well. I just think that he’s a massive example to, not people in Liverpool, I think young players up and down the country and academies what perseverance can do for you, and where it can get you to and it’s not all about talent, really and Jordan’s got great talent, but it’s not all about that and if you have [a] mentality like he’s got, the perseverance and you make sure you get everything you possibly can out of your career.

“He should be a role model I think for anyone in an academy up and down this country.”

TIF Thoughts…

It’s great to hear from Carragher that he clearly has a lot of respect and admiration for Henderson and what he has done, not only for Liverpool but throughout his career.

The hope for Henderson now will be that he can continue his career at Liverpool for as long as possible and win as many titles as he can.
