Aston Villa journalist Dan Bardell has made a claim on a potential transfer for Villa club captain Jack Grealish.
This comes after Bardell recently made an appearance on The Villa View podcast to discuss everything going on at Villa Park at the moment.
After news broke out that Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Grealish this summer alongside Manchester United, this led Bardell to share his thoughts on what could happen to Grealish in the near future.
He said: “I still think he’ll go to Manchester United personally, that’s what I think will happen.
“It’d be interesting to see him work under Pep [Guardiola] if I was a neutral, but obviously, it’s going to be horrible watching him play for anyone else.
“He’ll go somewhere because he’s too good for Aston Villa and we’re lightyears off what he needs at the moment. My gut tells me he’ll go to Manchester United, but it’ll be interesting to see what did happen if City entered the race.”

However, with Grealish still playing for Villa, hopefully, his focus is still on keeping them in the Premier League rather than a potential transfer move away from the club in the summer.
