Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

Hay spent a bit of time talking about Leeds’ promotion and dedicated some time to this new kit deal signed between the Whites and Adidas, which was announced earlier this week.

Here is what he had to say on this new deal and what he is expecting ahead of its release:

“I have a feeling that when these do go on sale in the next two or three weeks that the demand for them is going to be absolutely massive.”

Earlier, Hay talked about the deal itself and why it is beneficial for Leeds:

“It’s been described to me as a tier-one kit deal, which means that it will be very, very lucrative and more lucrative than Kappa.

“They’re a great brand, are Adidas, so you would like to think that we will have some nice kit on the way.”

Will you be buying one of the new kits?

Yes, of course

Yes, of course

No, will leave it this year

TIF Thoughts…

David Coverdale first reported the partnership between Leeds and Adidas in January, and the Whites have only just confirmed it, but it looks like it will be a good deal for Leeds.

The way Hay describes it makes it sound like the Whites will make some good money from it, and considering this is Leeds’ first season back in the Premier League in 16 years, he is probably right to predict that the kits will sell well.

The Athletic reporter produced a piece earlier in the year that revealed that the Whites had sold 110,000 shirts of their 2019/20 kit, so we can only imagine what they might sell now that they are back in the Premier League.
