Former Premier League footballer Don Hutchison has identified Marcelo Bielsa as someone he wants to see in the Premier League next season.

Nice easy one to start off with, from which club did Leeds sign Hernandez?

Hutchison, speaking alongside Craig Burley and Frank Leboeuf on a recent episode of the ESPN FC Podcast, talked about which clubs they would like to see promoted from the Championship, which led to Hutchison discussing Bielsa.

Here is what he had to say about the Argentine and the Whites:

“I would love to see Leeds come up; I would be intrigued if Bielsa comes up in the Premier League with his spying tactics and the way he goes about things and how fit he has his Leeds side playing.

“For brute force and the size of the clubs, I think everyone wants Leeds back.”

It seems as if Hutchison would like to see Bielsa and Leeds back in the Premier League, though he does appear to take a dig at the Argentine over ‘Spygate’.

Do you think Hutchison had a dig at Bielsa over 'Spygate?'

TIF Thoughts…

Apart from the little dig at ‘Spygate’, Hutchison sounds like he actually wants the Whites to be promoted, and considering they are three points clear of third heading into their midweek clash with Stoke City, they certainly have a chance.

Leeds under Bielsa have risen into the top two of the league this season and have won 51 games in all competitions since the Argentine took over back in 2018.

He has also played a role in transforming the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper, so if Leeds were to be promoted, it would be great to see him lead the Whites in the PL.
