Image for West Brom: Fans drool over ‘stunning’ image of The Hawthorns

West Brom’s official Twitter account recently posted a tweet that shared an image of The Hawthorns which has caught the attention of many Baggies fans.

This post from the Baggies’ official Twitter account states that the club’s stadium is “still glorious” whilst it also shares an image of the club’s home ground. Plenty of West Brom fans have been responding to this post and many of them have taken this opportunity to share their admiration for the Baggies’ stadium.

Some West Brom fans described this image of their stadium as ‘stunning’ and one Baggies supporter responded to the club’s recent post by stating that there is “no place like home”.

Professional football was postponed in England back in March due to the current viral outbreak and as a result, West Brom fans have not been able to watch a game of Championship football at The Hawthorns since 29 February.

As it has been a while since they’ve been able to see a game of Championship football played at this stadium, it may be understandable why one Baggies fan responded to this post to share that they miss The Hawthorns, whilst another West Brom supporter stated that they “want to go” to the Baggies’ home ground after seeing this image.

Judging by these tweets, West Brom fans will not waste time returning to The Hawthorns once it is deemed safe to do so. The EFL recently announced plans to restart the 2019/20 Championship season on the weekend of 20 June, however, this statement explains that the season will be restarting behind closed doors, meaning that Baggies supporters will have to wait a while longer before they will be able to enjoy a game of football at The Hawthorns again.
