Some Celtic fans have been talking about a leaked image of the club’s kit that recently emerged on social media.
FootyHeadlines recently posted an article and this included some images of the club’s leaked kit for the 2020/21 campaign. The kit, made by Adidas and sponsored by Dafabet, had the original Hoops colours. The sponsor’s logo was yellow in colour, while Adidas’ trademark stripes were on the shoulder area.
FootyHeadlines also relayed this article on Twitter. This then caught the attention of many Celtic fans and many of them were pleased about the look of the jersey.

While the 2019/20 Premiership season has been cancelled and Celtic have already been handed the Premiership title, the club has already announced an agreement with Adidas. The German brand will be in-charge of making the Hoops’ jerseys next season and the club has confirmed that the Adidas agreement is a record deal. It is the most lucrative deal in Scottish sport today.
While some Celtic fans were happy with this jersey, some of them weren’t too impressed. They expected better from Adidas.
Underwhelming but decent none the less https://t.co/MQKRCFDdWC

There is clearly a variety of opinion about how the leaked kit looks and fans are certainly entitled to their opinion. While no one knows if this would be the club’s jersey next season, Celtic fans can only hope that Adidas come up with a strip that they like and one that they can be proud of.
Since next season can see the Hoops win their tenth Premiership title in a row, the jersey could go down in Celtic history.
